These services are designed to solve specific business needs, from sending SMS messages to automating document processing with AI. Premium services operate on a credit-based system. Each service uses credits when activated, ensuring you only pay for what you use. Communication Services

SMS Messaging Send text messages directly from Knowlix to customers, leads, or team members. Perfect for appointment reminders, order confirmations, or urgent notifications. Use cases:

Using Premium Services

Premium services are designed for seamless integration with Knowlix. No complex setup or configuration is required for most services.

Activating a Service

Services activate automatically when you first use them. For example, clicking the SMS icon in a contact record triggers the SMS service. General activation flow:
  1. Navigate to where the service is available (e.g., a contact record for SMS)
  2. Click the service button or icon
  3. Complete the action (write your message, upload your document, etc.)
  4. Confirm the action
  5. Credits are automatically deducted from your balance
First Use: When using a service for the first time, Knowlix may prompt you to review pricing and credit requirements before proceeding.

Example: Sending an SMS

Step-by-step:
  1. Open the Contacts module
  2. Select a contact with a phone number
  3. Click the SMS icon next to the phone number field
  4. A message composer appears
  5. Write your message in the text field
  6. Click Send SMS
  7. The message is sent and logged in the contact’s activity feed
  8. Credits are deducted automatically

Monitoring Credit Usage

Each time you use a premium service, the appropriate number of credits is deducted from your account balance. You can monitor your balance in real-time. To check your credit balance:

If your credit balance is insufficient for an action, Knowlix will prompt you to purchase more before proceeding.

How Credits Work

Each premium service has its own credit pool. Credits are service-specific and cannot be transferred between services (e.g., SMS credits cannot be used for document digitization). Credit consumption varies by:
  • Service type: Different services use different amounts of credits per action

  • Geographic factors: For SMS, destination country affects credit cost
  • Document size: For digitization, page count or document size may affect cost

Credit Packs

Automatic Purchase Prompts

When you attempt to use a service without sufficient credits, Knowlix automatically prompts you to purchase more. You can complete the purchase without leaving your workflow. Purchase flow:
  1. Action requires credits you don’t have
  2. Purchase prompt appears
  3. Select desired credit pack
  4. Complete payment
  5. Credits are added immediately
  6. Return to your original task

Manual Credit Purchase

You can proactively purchase credits before you need them to avoid interruptions during important tasks. To manually purchase credits:
  1. Go to System Settings
  2. Navigate to Premium Services
  3. Click View My Services
  4. Select the service you want to add credits to
  5. Click Buy Credits
  6. Choose your desired pack
  7. Complete the checkout process

SMS Service

Credit consumption: SMS credits are consumed based on message length and destination country. A single SMS credit may cover:

  • Variable rates for international destinations
International SMS: Different countries have different SMS rates. Check the pricing details in the Knowlix Marketplace for specific destination costs.

Document Digitization Service

Credit consumption: Credits are typically consumed per page processed. Factors affecting cost:
  • Document resolution and quality
  • Number of pages
  • Complexity of extraction (simple invoices vs. complex contracts)
Processing time: Most documents are processed within seconds, but complex multi-page documents may take longer.

Contact Enrichment Service

Credit consumption: One credit is typically consumed per contact enriched, regardless of how much data is found. Data sources: Enrichment pulls from publicly available databases and company websites. Data availability varies by region and company size.

Account Management

Multi-User Access

Premium service credits are shared across your Knowlix workspace. All authorized users draw from the same credit pool. Managing access: System administrators can control which users have permission to use credit-based services through role permissions. Billing and Invoices

All credit purchases generate invoices automatically. These are available in your account for download and record-keeping. To access invoices:
  1. Go to System Settings → Premium Services
