Creating Blogs

Navigate to Website → Configuration → Blogs and click New. Enter a Blog Name and Blog Subtitle to establish the blog identity. The blog automatically appears as a menu item in your website navigation when created. Create multiple blogs to separate content by topic, audience, or team. Examples: Company News, Product Updates, Industry Insights.

Adding Blog Posts

Click +New from your website and select Blog Post. Choose which blog to publish in, enter a post title, and click Save. Write and format content using the website builder editor. Add images, videos, embedded content, and structured formatting. Content tips:
  • Type / in the editor to access formatting options and content blocks
  • Use copyright-free images from integrated image libraries
  • Structure posts with headings for readability and SEO
Publishing: Toggle the Unpublished switch in the top-right corner to Published when post is ready for public viewing. Unpublished posts remain drafts invisible to visitors. [Screenshot: Blog post creation interface]

Tags

Tags help visitors filter posts by topic and discover related content. Navigate to Website → Configuration → Blogs → Tags to manage tags. Creating tags: Click New and configure:
  • Name: Tag display label
  • Category: Group related tags under themed categories in sidebar
  • Used in: Select existing posts to apply tag retroactively
In-post tagging: Open the post customization panel and select tags from the Tags field. Create new tags directly while editing posts. Sidebar tag list: Enable the Sidebar in blog customization settings to display a Tags List component. Visitors click tags to filter the blog showing only posts sharing that tag.

Customizing Blog Layout

Open a blog homepage and click Edit → Customize to access layout settings. Top banner:
  • Name/Latest Post: Display latest post title in banner
  • Drop Zone: Remove default banner and add custom building blocks
Post layout:
  • Grid: Display posts in columns
  • List: Display posts in vertical list
Sidebar options:
  • Archives: Monthly filter showing posts by creation date
  • Follow Us: Social media links for subscriber acquisition
  • Tags List: Tag cloud for content filtering
Post card display:
  • Show or hide cover images
  • Display author attribution
  • Show comment and view statistics
  • Show teaser preview text and tags

Customizing Post Layout

Open individual post and click Edit → Customize for post-specific settings. Settings apply to all posts globally. Title position:
  • Inside cover image
  • Above cover image
Sidebar:
  • Archives, author bio, blog list, share buttons, tags
Navigation:
  • Breadcrumb trail showing path to post
  • Next article link at post bottom
  • Comments section enabling reader engagement
Engagement:
  • Enable comments for reader interaction
  • Select-to-tweet highlighting for reader sharing

Best Practices

Publish consistently on a defined schedule to build readership. Tag all posts for discoverability. Monitor traffic analytics to identify high-performing content types.
